Expands Northern California Presence

Oakland, Calif. — Gallagher Benefit Services of California Insurance Services (GBS) announced that it has expanded its Greater San Francisco Bay Area presence through the recent addition of CompAnalysis, Inc. (www.compensation.com) to its growing family of employee benefits brokerage and human resources management consulting operations. GBS is one of the fastest growing employee benefits brokerage and human resource consulting firms in California. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1980, CompAnalysis is a compensation and human resources consulting firm that specializes in the design and development of strategic base pay plans, performance-based incentive programs, and general human resources consulting for their private sector for-profit and non-profit clients throughout the United States. The firm also produces a comprehensive annual S.F. Bay Area compensation and benefits survey (www.salarysurveys.com) that will be expanded to include data from the entire state in 2011.

The office will continue to operate under the leadership of Shari Dunn, Managing Director of CompAnalysis -- a Division of Gallagher Benefit Services of California Insurance Services.
